The Dishwasher position at Lessing's Hospitality Group is an essential role within their food service operations. This role is designed for individuals who are dedicated to maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment, which is crucial to the overall operation and guest satisfaction. This is an hourly paid position with a salary range of $16.50 to $18.00 per hour in New York. In this role, the dishwasher is responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks within the kitchen and dining areas to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and functionality are met. The dishwasher will wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashers or by hand if necessary. They will also clean tableware and keep all kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in a clean and orderly condition, which is key to smooth kitchen operations. Maintaining clean food preparation areas and facilities is also a crucial part of the job, helping to uphold health and safety standards.
