The role available is part-time, based in Tallahassee, requiring availability on Sundays. This position offers the opportunity to engage in various back-of-house (BOH) responsibilities at 4 Rivers Smokehouse. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen and dining areas, contributing to a positive guest experience. Responsibilities include washing and organizing dishes, performing scheduled cleanings in kitchen and dining spaces, assisting other BOH roles with tasks such as brisket wrapping and cold prep, and managing inventory organization. Additionally, team members may be called upon to fill in across different BOH stations including Smoker, Baker, Hot Prep, and Cold Prep during busy hours. The job demands the ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment while collaborating effectively within a team. Job Duties
- Wash and organize dishes for the BOH
- perform scheduled cleanings throughout the kitchen, dining room, and patio areas
- assist other BOH positions by performing various tasks such as wrapping brisket, preparing cold prep items, monitoring trash levels
- assist BOH with all needs during peak, busy hours
- perform smoker, baker, hot prep, and cold prep responsibilities as needed
- help organize and put away inventory, dry goods, and fresh food
