Position: Assistant General Manager, Met Opera Grand Tier
About: Delaware North’s Patina Restaurant Group is searching for an experienced full-time Assistant General Manager to join our team at Met Opera Grand Tier Restaurant in New York, New York. The ideal candidate will have fine dining restaurant experience and be an inspiring leader who successfully manages and trains team members, processes, budgets, and expenses effectively.
Requirements: Minimum three years’ experience as an Assistant General Manager, Senior Restaurant Manager, or Service Director in a restaurant of similar style, capacity, and volume; No college degree required; Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel and Word); ServSafe, Food Safety Handler, and Training for Intervention Procedures (TIPS) certification; Strong financial and computer skills; experience working with and understanding P&Ls and developing and managing budgets, as well as Microsoft Office Suite programs and point-of-sale systems; Exceptional communication and leadership skills to deal effectively with all types of team members and guests
