Job Description
Leigh & Co. Events is a vibrant and rapidly expanding wedding planning company that provides exceptional services to clients across the United States. Renowned for our dedication to making every wedding unique and memorable, we pride ourselves on offering personalized, detail-oriented planning that caters to the dreams and desires of each couple. Our team is passionate about orchestrating flawless events that resonate on a personal level, ensuring our clients experience joy, peace of mind, and everlasting memories on their special day. Established with a commitment to excellence, Leigh & Co. Events has grown steadily, earning a reputation for reliability, creativity, and impeccable execution in the competitive wedding industry. We work closely with clients from initial consultations to the day-of event, blending innovative ideas while managing all logistical elements with professionalism and care.
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and highly organized individuals to join our team as Lead Wedding Planners for the 2026 season and beyond. This contract position offers the unique advantage of flexibility, allowing planners to set their own schedules and work remotely when not onsite. Compensation is straightforward and competitive, with each wedding project paying $350 for approximately 10 to 12 hours of work. This role is ideal for experienced planners who seek a balance between professional commitment and personal flexibility, backed by comprehensive training and ongoing support from a dedicated team.
As a Lead Wedding Planner, your primary responsibility will be managing and executing wedding day logistics with precision and care. You will have the opportunity to work closely with clients, fostering strong relationships and providing expert guidance throughout the planning process. Your role will involve direct collaboration with client experience managers and assistant coordinators to ensure seamless communication and flawless event execution. You will lead crucial final preparation calls, conduct rehearsals, and be the primary on-site point of contact during the wedding day.
Key responsibilities include managing vendor relations, overseeing the setup and breakdown of ceremonies and receptions, and handling any unexpected challenges with calm problem-solving skills. The Lead Wedding Planner acts as the central figure in coordinating all details from escort cards and table numbers to menu placements and décor elements. You will also support the wedding party and family members by offering guidance and timing cues, ensuring the event flows smoothly. This role demands a detail-focused, organized, and adaptable professional who thrives in high-pressure situations and is passionate about crafting unforgettable wedding experiences.
