The Catering Services Manager at Aramark plays a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing all facets of catering solutions and special events at their designated location. This position requires managing the catering team to deliver exceptional event execution, meeting customer expectations and upholding high service standards. The role involves developing innovative catering offerings tailored to meet client needs, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring consistent excellence in event planning and delivery. The manager facilitates the smooth delivery and setup of food prepared according to banquet event orders (BEOs) and assists clients with creative solutions for their special events.
Key responsibilities include training, leading, and supervising catering staff to ensure adherence to quality standards and presentation for all events. The Catering Services Manager is also responsible for the timely provision of completed banquet event orders to the team and for assuring that all event requests are fulfilled to specification. Business management aspects of the role include meeting food and labor targets, overseeing staffing and management of catering events of varying sizes and complexities, and ensuring accurate financial reporting of all catering revenues, expenses, and receivables. Recruiting, scheduling, and developing team members are essential leadership functions to maintain an expert and motivated catering workforce.

Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Develop and complete catering solutions to meet customers' needs
- develop and maintain effective client and customer rapport
- deliver consistent quality in planning and carrying out events
- facilitate the delivery of prepared food and set up of events crafted from banquet event orders
- assist clients in planning special events and providing creative solutions to clients' needs
- train and lead catering employees to ensure catering and event standards are followed ensuring quality in final presentation
- provide completed Banquet Event Orders to team and provide quality assurance all requests are met prior to event
- responsible for delivering food and labor targets
- responsible for execution of catering events of varied size and scope including staffing and management
- ensure accurate reporting of all catering related revenue, expenses, and receivables
