With a focus on operational excellence and client satisfaction, Lansing Move Collective has established itself as a trusted leader in the event management sector, consistently delivering high-quality services that align with the evolving needs of the market.

The role of an Event Coordination Specialist at Lansing Move Collective is fundamental to the seamless execution of both internal and external events. This position is designed for professionals who are passionate about event planning and possess a strong acumen for logistics and operational details. As an Event Coordination Specialist, you will work closely with senior Event and Attendee Managers, gaining valuable insights into key business drivers, company processes, and stakeholder engagement. Your responsibilities will include coordinating a variety of tasks such as vendor onboarding, contract processing, and on-site registration for a range of events, including trade shows. This role demands a high level of prioritization skills and the ability to contribute effectively to team goals. Regular travel, approximately 50 percent of the time, is required, reflecting the hands-on nature of the role and the importance of presence during event execution.

Candidates will have the opportunity to lead planning for smaller Tier 3 events, which serves as a proving ground for developing leadership skills within the event planning domain. Additionally, you will assist with larger initiatives under the guidance of senior team members, ensuring that all events meet the company's high standards and deliver a consistent attendee experience. Your meticulous attention to detail will be critical in maintaining operational accuracy, reviewing attendee manifests, registration data, and hotel rooming lists, as well as managing logistics such as transportation, shipping, setup, and tear-down activities.

This role is ideal for someone looking to deepen their expertise in event coordination while contributing meaningfully to a team focused on excellence and innovation. The Event Coordination Specialist position at Lansing Move Collective offers a stimulating environment where you can grow professionally and make a tangible impact through the successful delivery of diverse events. The emphasis on teamwork, flexibility, and continuous learning make this an engaging opportunity for dedicated event professionals seeking to advance their careers in a vibrant and supportive company culture.
