Job Requirements
- High school diploma preferred
- Minimum 2 years relevant work experience or equivalent education and experience preferred
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to work flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to perform continuous mobility, frequent bending, pulling, pushing, crouching, stooping, twisting, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds
- Proficient in point of sale system and Apple devices
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and solve problems
- Commitment to outstanding guest service
- Adherence to Ulta Beauty policies and dress code
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Proven ability to delegate, multi-task, and problem-solve
- Strong passion and knowledge for guest service and sales
- Experience handling guest concerns professionally and promptly
- Demonstrated success in exceeding sales goals and training new hires
- Proficient with technology such as point of sale systems and Apple devices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Ability to adapt and perform well under pressure
Job Duties
- Contribute to meeting or exceeding store retail and service sales, omni-channel, guest loyalty including credit, and retail shrink goals
- Ensure exceptional guest service by greeting and engaging guests, personalizing service, and recommending products and services
- Courteously handle sales, refunds, and exchanges
- Pair guests with associates for makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations
- Book appointments and support in-store services and events
- Maintain and organize all cashwrap displays, supplies, and impulse fixtures
- Support leadership by completing cashier chat ins and chat outs, and associate exit inspections
- Stay informed on industry trends and product knowledge
- Promote and share the guest loyalty program benefits and lead associates to do the same
- Train new cashiers and cross-train other associates
- Engage and influence peers to achieve peak performance
- Ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, and dress code
- Manage all transactions including returns and control of cash and media per company policy
- Complete register open and close functions
- Maintain store standards and cleanliness in all areas
- Protect company assets and minimize loss by adhering to store standards and safety protocols
- Execute other operational tasks as assigned
