The Busser role at Pechanga Resort Casino is a vital secondary service position within the dinner houses, serving as the first line of support for servers while interacting directly and indirectly with guests. This position is primarily responsible for maintaining the quality and efficiency of guest dining experiences by supporting servers and ensuring tables are promptly cleared, reset, and prepared to meet stringent standards. Bussers contribute to delivering an elevated level of service by providing attentive back-service assistance to guests, maintaining water service, offering bread service, and aiding in various server duties throughout the meal. Through their efforts, Bussers enhance guest satisfaction, foster a welcoming atmosphere, and support the department in achieving high service benchmarks. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 6 months experience preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and understand simple instructions
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to perform tray service safely
  • Must qualify for Class B gaming license
  • Must qualify for Food Handlers Certificate
  • Must qualify for Tips Certification

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Effective one-on-one and small group communication skills
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide with familiarity with American money and measurements
  • Ability to apply common sense to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions
  • Must qualify to obtain and maintain a Class B gaming license
  • Must qualify to obtain and maintain a Food Handlers Certificate
  • Must qualify to obtain and maintain a Tips Certification
  • Knowledge of menu and resort amenities
  • Completion of required service-related classes through PLDA within 90 days of employment

Job Duties

  • Clearing table after guests are done with meal
  • Clearing all soiled china, glass or silverware throughout guests dining experience
  • Resetting tables to standard as designated by management
  • Maintaining water service throughout meal for guests
  • Provide bread service to each table as specified by the outlet's menu
  • Assisting server with small duties throughout service to appease guests
  • Be an ambassador for the guests, relay any messages to server as necessary
  • Provide personalized guest service to each table, interact with guests, smile and offer warm greetings and farewells
  • Other duties as assigned
