This role is for a Prepared Meal and Rotisserie Chicken Associate at the Bakersfield, CA Sam's Club location. This position is a part-time to full-time employment opportunity that offers an hourly wage range of $19.00 to $27.00, which may include additional premiums and performance incentives based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. The position focuses on preparing fresh food items daily, including following recipes precisely and preparing always warm and ready rotisserie chicken for members. The role demands strong organizational skills to ensure proper wrapping, labeling, and storing of merchandise so that customers can take home the freshest products. Additionally, the associate will maintain the quality of the prepared foods area by cleaning, monitoring temperature controls, checking expiration dates, and disposing of lesser-quality food products.

Candidates will be expected to juggle multiple tasks efficiently, assist members with bakery orders, and maintain a clean, sanitized, and member-ready environment. This position requires passion for fresh food, excellent customer service skills, and adaptability to changing work scenarios. The associate is also a key part of a team dedicated to delivering high-quality prepared food products and offering a great shopping experience. Furthermore, the role requires compliance with food safety standards, cold chain compliance, and sanitation guidelines.
