As a company, AmTrust is committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace culture that embraces the ideas and backgrounds of all employees, which directly contributes to its reputation as an employer of choice and a competitive industry player. With a strategic blend of tradition and innovation, AmTrust continuously seeks to enhance its services and corporate engagement through professional development and exemplary customer interactions. The company offers a full-time Event Planning Specialist position based out of one of its offices, operating under a hybrid work model that balances remote work with onsite presence as needed. The salary range for this role is competitive, between $64,400 and $80,000, reflecting the expertise and responsibilities required.

The Event Planning Specialist role at AmTrust is a pivotal position responsible for the comprehensive planning, coordination, and successful execution of a wide variety of internal and external events that significantly uplift AmTrust’s brand image and enrich employee and partner engagement. The Event Planning Specialist also handles financial management duties including budget creation, tracking, and reconciliation, as well as directing vendor relationships and ensuring compliance with cost control policies and company financial guidelines.

Beyond logistics and financial oversight, this role requires strong leadership skills to mentor and support junior team members such as Producers and Coordinators within the meetings and events department. With a keen eye on industry trends and emerging event technologies, the specialist is expected to innovate continuously, introducing new ideas that enhance attendee engagement and overall event effectiveness. The position demands a high degree of organization, problem-solving capabilities, and adaptability, especially when managing complex, fast-paced environments often typical of major events. Candidates with at least 5 years of experience in event planning, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office products and proven budget management skills, will thrive in this challenging and rewarding role.

Overall, the Event Planning Specialist at AmTrust plays a critical role not just in event execution but in embodying the company’s culture and commitment to excellence, driving engagement and delivering memorable experiences both internally to employees and externally to partners and clients. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced event professional to grow within a supportive, dynamic company that values diversity, inclusion, and professional development.
