Our client, a leading media and entertainment company based in Glendale, CA, is seeking a highly organized and proactive Event Coordinator to join their team on a full-time contracted basis from January 5th through September 4th, 2026. This position offers up to $35 per hour, contingent upon experience, with a work schedule designed for on-site presence Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and remote work on Fridays.

The Event Coordinator role is critical in supporting event producers through all stages of planning and executing a large-scale event. The coordinator will be responsible for managing logistics, maintaining thorough documentation, tracking schedules, and ensuring smooth operational workflows among all stakeholders including internal teams, vendors, exhibitors, and partners. Elevating the event's execution, the coordinator plays a key role in preparing production materials such as presentation and briefing documents, signage grids, and production manuals. Additionally, the coordinator will provide on-site support during load-ins, rehearsals, event days, and strike, requiring flexibility and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

This role demands exceptional organizational skills, detail orientation, and the ability to communicate clearly and proactively across various teams to ensure all components of the event run flawlessly. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 or more years of experience in event coordination, production, or project coordination, complemented by strong communication and proficiency in Microsoft Office and presentation tools. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in event management meeting planning marketing business communications theater or related field or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 or more years of experience in event coordination production project coordination or similar role internships accepted
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and timelines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel Word Outlook and presentation tools such as PowerPoint and Keynote
  • Detail-oriented with strong accuracy and follow-through
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced deadline-driven environments
