The role of Senior Event Services Technician at Pinnacle Live is a crucial position focused on supporting event floor operations in a hotel or hospitality setting. This role involves the setup, breakdown, and operation of intermediate to advanced audiovisual technology solutions for various types of live events. The Senior Event Services Technician acts not only as a technical expert but also as a leader and mentor to other technicians and team members, reinforcing Pinnacle Live's commitment to quality service delivery. Responsibilities include ensuring all event setups and strikes follow company standard operating procedures, operating AV equipment, troubleshooting technical issues, greeting clients, providing clear instructions on equipment use, and maintaining ongoing communication to ensure the success of events. The technician is also tasked with managing inventory, ensuring equipment is secure and in good working condition, and maintaining cleanliness and organization of company-occupied spaces. With an emphasis on continuous learning, the position offers opportunities to improve technical skills related to audio, video, staging, computer operations, and networking. This position requires a strong technical aptitude, planning and organizational skills, excellent communication, and a customer-focused mindset. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least two years of experience in the audio visual or hospitality industry
- Proficiency in computer hardware, software, and networking
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods including up and down stairs
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow company security and safety measures
- Commitment to maintaining professional appearance
- Willingness to continuously improve technical skills
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Minimum of two years experience in audio visual and/or hospitality industry
- Computer proficiency with hardware, software, and networking

Job Duties
- Ensure all event sets and strikes are completed according to Company SOPs
- Operate intermediate technology solutions and troubleshoot if issues arise
- Act as leader and mentor to other technicians and team members
- Greet guests/clients before event and provide clear instructions on how to operate equipment
- Provide continued communication with client to ensure success of all events
- Follow through on all client requests
- Look for opportunities to enhance client’s event
- Maintain accurate client event information within the Company’s business systems
- Review daily invoices with client and obtain client’s signature on invoice(s)
- Comply with all Company security and safety measures and ensure inventory is secure from theft or damage
- Ensure all inventory is in good working order and rental condition
- Report any lost, stolen or damaged equipment immediately to management
- Ensure inventory is secure from theft and/or damage
- Keep all Company occupied areas clean, organized, and up to Company standards
- Continually work toward enhancing and improving technical skills including audio, video/data, staging, computer operation and networking
- Comply with all Company policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
