Job Duties

  • Talking to clients about their events and ensuring a happy outcome for the client
  • Being able to accommodate guests on caterings and party room reservations
  • Leading staff at events/caterings
  • Communicate with guests, managers and kitchen staff ensuring every event’s success
  • Negotiate with clients on pricing and contracts
  • Keep up the productivity and organization of the private rooms and caterings
  • Inform the staff of the next two weeks of events at each restaurant meeting
  • Relay events in the downtown area that may affect business
  • Responsible for creating, mailing, and documenting any gift card submissions
  • Conduct the first interview of all potential applicants for greeter positions
  • Train all greeters and ensure they are up to date on all new or improved procedures
  • Work as a staff member on caterings if there is a shortage
  • Be present on all large caterings to ensure the event's success
  • Call and schedule interviews for chefs and managers
  • Update catering menu as the menu changes
  • Keep an inventory of catering products and ensure they are restocked
