The Blue Arena, located within The Ranch Events Complex in Loveland, Colorado, is a key venue managed by Oak View Group. This multipurpose arena opened in September 2003 and boasts a seating capacity of approximately 6,800. It serves as the home of the Colorado Eagles of the American Hockey League and hosts a wide variety of events including hockey, basketball, football, rodeos, concerts, trade shows, family shows, and other large-scale gatherings. Located less than an hour from Denver and Cheyenne, the Blue Arena is an essential hub for sports and entertainment in Northern Colorado. The arena is part of the larger 374,000 square-foot complex called The Ranch, which includes multiple buildings and pavilions. The Ranch is a central venue for sports, entertainment, and agricultural events in one of the country’s fastest-growing regions.
The position of Event Housekeeper at Blue Arena is a part-time role vital to maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of the venue before, during, and after events. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Event Housekeeper undertakes a variety of janitorial duties essential for ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests, staff, and event clients. Tasks include vacuuming, trash removal, detailed cleaning of surfaces, restrooms, floors (both hard floors and carpets), and other venue areas. The Event Housekeeper is also responsible for operating cleaning equipment such as buffers, rider scrubbers, walk-behind scrubbers, vacuums, blowers, and pressure washers. This role requires working efficiently in a fast-paced event setting with a flexible schedule that may include first, second, and third shifts based on event demands and employee availability.
This role offers an hourly wage ranging from $21.00 to $22.50 and includes benefits specifically designed for part-time employees. Oak View Group provides a 401(k) Savings Plan with matching contributions and offers accrued paid leave based on hours worked. Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- previous experience in janitorial or housekeeping maintenance preferred
- ability to operate cleaning equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and pressure washers
- strong attention to detail
- ability to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- customer service orientation
- knowledge of OSHA safety standards is a plus
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in janitorial or housekeeping maintenance preferred
- experience operating cleaning equipment preferred
- knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products and techniques
- high school diploma, GED, or equivalent

Job Duties
- Perform daily cleaning throughout the facility following standard housekeeping schedules
- maintain cleanliness before, during, and after events including detailed deep cleaning
- clean floors, restrooms, furniture, walls, windows, doors, fixtures, and equipment
- operate cleaning equipment including buffers, rider scrubbers, walk-behind scrubbers, blowers, vacuums, and pressure washers
- stock janitorial supplies and report inventory needs
- review event schedules and documents to prepare cleaning tasks
- work efficiently in a fast-paced event environment
- assign and supervise temporary housekeeping staff when required
- communicate with supervisors regarding scheduling and housekeeping needs
- maintain housekeeping equipment and report repair needs
- provide excellent customer service to staff, guests, and event clients
- complete additional duties as needed to support event cleanliness and success
