Job Requirements

  • Six months to one year of related experience or training

Job Duties

  • Assist in the coordination and execution of campus events including meetings and conferences
  • Respond to departmental phone calls and emails with high-quality customer service
  • Support event scheduling and requests using AdAstra Information Systems
  • Plan and coordinate special events such as New Student Orientation, Homecoming, and Commencement
  • Collaborate with Food Services and Facilities Management to meet event needs
  • Communicate with event clients to coordinate logistics and details
  • Assist with recruitment, training, supervision, and evaluation of student workers
  • Conduct research to improve scheduling procedures and event services
  • Update calendars and related documents with key dates and deadlines
  • Coordinate with vendors including placing orders, managing logistics, and hosting vendors during events
