Job Description
Fooda is a dynamic and innovative workplace food program company dedicated to transforming the way employees experience lunch at work. Powered by cutting-edge technology and a vast network of over 2,000 local restaurants, Fooda provides fresh, chef-curated meals delivered directly to office buildings in more than 20 major cities across the United States. The company is committed to creating a food culture within workplaces that employees not only enjoy but also eagerly anticipate every day. Fooda's model allows a different restaurant to serve onsite every day, offering unique menus that keep workplace dining exciting and diverse. With a reputation as one of the top perks in eight out of ten companies that utilize Fooda, the service enhances company culture and employee satisfaction dramatically.
Currently, Fooda is looking to hire a part-time Event Coordinator in the Lebanon market. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in hospitality or events who are passionate about food service, enjoy working with customers, and want to support local restaurants. The Event Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring that Fooda events run smoothly and that the customer experience is outstanding. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with Fooda’s technology platforms, develop operational competencies, and become an integral part of a growing food service company. The role requires working primarily over lunch hours, Monday through Friday, with responsibilities potentially extending from 8 am to 4 pm depending on market needs. This schedule makes the job particularly suitable for those seeking flexible part-time work, approximately 12-15 hours per week, with competitive wages and room for growth.
As an Event Coordinator, you will be directly involved in organizing onsite events by setting up and tearing down equipment, maintaining cleanliness and orderliness, troubleshooting any issues that arise with orders or technology, and delivering excellent customer service in real time. You will also play an active role in coaching and promoting the Fooda mobile app to customers and conducting audits to uphold Fooda’s high standards of restaurant event setups. This role requires strong communication skills, high energy, problem-solving capabilities, and a friendly, approachable demeanor. Candidates with prior catering or serving experience will find that these skills translate well to the Event Coordinator position. Additionally, self-motivation, organizational skills, and familiarity with the local area and efficient transportation are important for success in this role.
Working at Fooda means being part of a culture that values food, people, and innovation. The company offers a fulfilling and challenging work environment where employees can grow professionally while enjoying the perks of free food and networking opportunities within the vibrant local restaurant communities. Fooda also supports its employees with benefits such as competitive wages, a 401k retirement savings plan with company match, and opportunities for long-term career advancement. Most importantly, Fooda fosters a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all employees authorized to work in the United States. If you are enthusiastic about creating memorable food experiences and want to contribute to a company that is reshaping workplace dining, this Event Coordinator role is an excellent fit.
