Flik Hospitality Group is currently hiring for a full-time Carillon PM Bartender position located at the University of Texas at Austin, 1900 University Avenue, Austin, TX 78705. This role demands a friendly, courteous, and efficient bartender who is skilled in preparing and serving beverages during the PM shift, Tuesday through Saturday, with hours that may vary. The position offers a fixed pay rate of $12.00 per hour and includes perks such as free meals, uniforms, and laundering services at select locations. Candidates must have prior bartending experience and thorough knowledge of beverage preparation. The Carillon PM Bartender plays a crucial role in maintaining a positive guest experience by adhering to all state, federal, and corporate regulations concerning alcohol service. Responsibilities include setting up assigned bars, requisitioning and stocking all necessary supplies such as beer, wine, spirits, paper products, glassware, and garnishes, and maintaining product quality through proper preparation and storage. The bartender is expected to engage warmly with guests, take and process drink orders accurately, and ensure proper portion control while demonstrating knowledge of liquor laws. Additional duties include managing cash transactions, adhering to health and safety standards through regular cleaning, securing bar areas after shifts, and contributing to an attractive bar environment.
