The Cabin Cleaner role at ABM plays a critical part in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation standards of aircraft interiors between flights. This position is essential in ensuring a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for passengers and crew by focusing on thorough cleaning and restocking procedures within tight timeframes. Cabin Cleaners are responsible for cleaning and sanitizing various cabin areas including seats, tray tables, overhead bins, carpets, lavatories, and hard surfaces. They also handle the removal of trash and debris and ensure that all cabin supplies such as paper products and hygiene items are restocked promptly. Given the aviation industry's strict safety and security standards, Cabin Cleaners adhere closely to all airline and TSA regulations while conducting their duties. This role also involves reporting any maintenance or safety concerns to supervisors to uphold the high safety standards required. The overnight shift schedule includes working from 9 pm to 5:30 am with mandatory overtime, reflecting the fast-paced and demanding nature of the job that requires efficiency within quick turnaround periods. ABM offers this position at an hourly wage of $15.75.

Job Duties

  • Clean and sanitize aircraft cabins including seats tray tables overhead bins and lavatories
  • Vacuum carpets and wipe down hard surfaces
  • Remove trash and debris from seat pockets and floors
  • Restock supplies such as paper products soap and seat pocket items
  • Follow all airline and TSA safety and security procedures
  • Report any maintenance or safety concerns to the supervisor
  • Work efficiently within tight turnaround times between flights
