Job Description

Leigh & Co. Events is a rapidly expanding wedding planning company dedicated to serving couples across the United States with exquisite and personalized wedding experiences. Our company prides itself on delivering exceptional event coordination and seamless execution, ensuring that every couple's special day is memorable and stress-free. With a focus on quality, creativity, and client satisfaction, Leigh & Co. Events has quickly earned a reputation as a trusted partner in the wedding industry, adapting to each unique request with professionalism and flair. Our firm consistently embraces innovation in event design and planning, leveraging a talented team of passionate coordinators and planners to bring dream weddings to life across diverse venues and settings nationwide.

We are currently inviting enthusiastic planners to join us as Lead Wedding Planners for the upcoming 2026 wedding season and beyond. This role is a contract position, offering the flexibility to create your own schedule while receiving compensation per project. Training is provided to equip you with the knowledge and resources to excel, with payment set at $300 for a commitment of 10 to 12 hours per project. Ideal candidates will thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments where attention to detail, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills are critical.

As a Lead Wedding Planner at Leigh & Co. Events, your core responsibility will be to provide comprehensive onsite wedding planning services, ensuring every event is flawlessly executed according to the couple's vision. You will work closely with our client experience managers to coordinate plans from preliminary discussions through the big day. Leading assistant coordinators during events and acting as the primary point of contact for both clients and vendors will be key components of your role.

Your duties include conducting final details calls approximately six weeks before the wedding to verify logistics and timelines, guiding rehearsal ceremonies, and overseeing all day-of event execution stages. Maintaining calm and professionalism in high-pressure situations, ensuring smooth vendor coordination, and delivering superior customer service are essential. You will also be responsible for managing event setup and breakdown, assisting with the placement of wedding details such as escort cards and décor, and supporting wedding party members throughout the day. Your proactive approach to troubleshooting and your dedication to creating an enjoyable guest experience will contribute significantly to the success of each event.

Leigh & Co. Events values the dedication and expertise of its Lead Wedding Planners and offers a fulfilling opportunity to advance your career in event planning with complete schedule flexibility. Join our team and help transform couples' dreams into reality while working alongside a passionate, professional team committed to excellence. This role is perfect for individuals looking to expand their wedding planning portfolio and work on diverse projects within a supportive and innovative company.
