Job Description

Parks and Recreation Department located at 102 Public Square in Clarksville is dedicated to providing quality recreational services and facilities for the community. The role primarily involves the on-site supervision of rental activities at various parks and recreation facilities under the department’s direction. The successful candidate will act as an essential liaison between renters and the Facility Promotion Supervisor, ensuring seamless coordination and high client satisfaction.

As a Rental Facility Supervisor, you will be responsible for monitoring rented venues to ensure they meet safety standards and are well-maintained throughout rental periods. Emphasis is placed on overseeing cleanliness, checking lighting and locks, managing equipment, and ensuring public areas are properly maintained. Flexibility, problem-solving ability, and effective communication skills are crucial to address any issues that may arise during events or rental times.

Though technical knowledge and experience with audio-visual equipment can be helpful in this role, it is not a mandatory requirement, making this position accessible to a wide variety of candidates. The job involves moderate physical activity and the ability to work under various weather conditions, often requiring standing, walking, and lifting. The schedule is flexible, often including weekends and evenings, to accommodate the timing of facility rentals.

Working under general supervision, the Rental Facility Supervisor must be capable of independently managing responsibilities while maintaining a professional demeanor that reflects well on the Parks and Recreation Department. Job Duties
