Job Description
Thursday is a groundbreaking global IRL (in-real-life) dating movement focused on transforming how people connect and meet offline. Established with the vision to make dating fun and genuine in a digital age, Thursday has successfully expanded its presence to over 150 cities worldwide. With notable features in esteemed media outlets such as Forbes, the BBC, and Australia’s leading morning show, Thursday stands as a leader in revitalizing authentic social interaction in the dating scene. The company hosts dynamic and engaging events that range from bar takeovers and rooftop mingles to wellness collaborations and fitness activities designed specifically to encourage singles to put their phones down and engage with one another face-to-face. Their innovative approach redefines modern dating by combining creativity, community-building, and high-energy social experiences.
Operating out of Memphis, TN, Thursday is now looking to bring its vibrant energy and revolutionary dating philosophy to local communities by hiring a Thursday Events Producer on a freelance, commission-based role. This position offers hosts the opportunity to earn an average of $3,000 to $4,000 per month, with top performers generating over $10,000 monthly. As a Thursday Events Producer, you will be the heartbeat of the local dating events, responsible for curating and hosting memorable gatherings that foster connection and enjoyment among singles. This is not simply a side gig; it is a chance to be a part of a movement that is reshaping how people experience dating and social interaction in your city.
The ideal candidate is an extroverted, organized, and high-energy individual who thrives on social engagement, is confident using social media platforms to amplify event reach, and has a passion for building communities. This role demands creativity and proactive event management skills, from scouting and booking unique venues to attracting and engaging a diverse audience. Host responsibilities include managing the local Thursday city Instagram account to promote events and truly embodying the Thursday spirit and brand. You will host weekly events that connect and energize guests, creating an inviting atmosphere that encourages real-life interaction and fun.
Joining Thursday as an Events Producer means gaining access to full onboarding support, design assets for marketing, and a global network to help you succeed. Beyond monetary compensation, hosts receive exclusive perks such as Host-Level Wristbands to participate in exciting singles trips worldwide, including skiing adventures, Bali retreats, and yacht weeks in Croatia. Additionally, high-performing hosts are given the opportunity to interview for full-time positions within the company. This role offers flexibility, entrepreneurial freedom, and the rewarding experience of shaping how people meet in your city. If you are ready to be part of a global community and a unique movement that values human connection, Thursday invites you to apply and bring the vibe to your city.
