As part of a well-established organization with over 50 years of experience, Sevita prioritizes creating an inclusive environment where every individual is empowered to live life to the fullest. With a mission centered on growth, independence, and personalization of care, Sevita supports more than 50,000 individuals nationwide through a team of 40,000 compassionate and trained professionals. This organization's commitment to fostering meaningful relationships and delivering quality care underscores its reputation as an industry leader in specialized health care services.

Joining D&S Community Services means becoming part of a mission-driven team that values each person’s right to live well and offers fulfilling career opportunities. The role currently available is a caregiver position based in Inwood - Denton, TX, classified under pay class PRN with flexible hours as needed, and a competitive hourly wage of $11. Importantly, this position does not require a GED or high school diploma, opening doors for motivated individuals eager to establish a meaningful career in human services.

As a caregiver at Sevita, you will take pride in your rewarding work helping people grow, learn, and enjoy a higher quality of life. The role involves assisting individuals with their personal hygiene, supporting developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition, and encouraging community engagement and participation in activities they love. Caregivers are trusted leaders in their own right, empowered to take initiative and make decisions that are in the best interest of the individuals served. This position calls for patience, compassion, and resilience, especially as you support those with behavioral challenges and complex needs.

Beyond the direct care role, Sevita offers a nurturing work environment where employees are supported by supervisors who genuinely care about both the wellbeing of participants and the professionals themselves. The organization fosters a culture of learning and development, providing comprehensive training and tools to help caregivers succeed and thrive in their careers. In addition to competitive pay, full-time employees can benefit from a comprehensive benefits package including a 401(k) plan with a 3% company match, paid time off with holiday pay, and job security within a growing and stable company.

Whether you're starting your career or looking for a meaningful change, this opportunity at D&S Community Services in Denton is designed to allow you to make a direct impact on the lives of others. If you possess a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle, plus qualities such as communication skills, adaptability, and teamwork, you could be the ideal candidate to join Sevita’s compassionate and dedicated team.
