Job Requirements

  • ServSafe Food Safety Certification required
  • Must be kept current
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
  • Experience as a Chef for 5-7 years
  • Experience in kitchen management
  • Advanced computer proficiency
  • Ability to handle fast-paced environments
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage several projects simultaneously

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive culinary knowledge and management experience
  • ServSafe Food Safety Certification
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to think critically and problem solve
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and industry software
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Experience as a Chef for a minimum of 5-7 years
  • Experience in kitchen management
  • Strong leadership and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Oversee development and growth of the culinary team
  • Own the training function for commissary and onsite event chefs
  • Work with culinary leaders to develop training and standard operating procedures
  • Conduct regular department walkthroughs and tastings to ensure quality
  • Manage and execute company tastings including VIP events
  • Lead new menu creation and presentation
  • Collaborate on menu costing and marketing needs
  • Implement and support BOH technology platforms
  • Ensure compliance with food safety plans and HACCP standards
  • Plan and execute off-site kitchen setups and logistics
  • Lead by example and model company core values
  • Participate in industry events and network for industry expertise
