The role of Catering Bartender at a golf tournament represents a unique opportunity to join the Oak View Group team for a seasonal position beginning April 21, 2026, and concluding on August 21, 2026. This role offers a competitive hourly wage of $18.00. The Catering Bartender is primarily responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service in a fast-paced, outdoor event environment, ensuring that guests receive professional, friendly, and timely service.

In this position, the bartender plays a vital role in supporting the overall guest experience by maintaining compliance with alcohol service regulations, tournament standards, and health and safety protocols. This includes managing bar stations throughout the event, handling transactions using POS systems, verifying guest identification, and maintaining cleanliness and organization. The role requires the ability to work efficiently under high pressure, managing high guest volume with professionalism and courtesy. In addition, the Catering Bartender collaborates closely with concessions, culinary, and event operations teams to provide seamless service.

This seasonal position demands flexibility, as work hours may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and multiple consecutive event days. It is especially suited for individuals who enjoy engaging with guests in an outdoor setting and who have a solid understanding of beverage offerings including beer, wine, cocktails, and responsible alcohol service. Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards and event guidelines
  • Verify guest age and ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with state and local laws
  • Operate POS systems accurately, process cash and credit transactions, and maintain proper cash handling procedures
  • Set up, maintain, and break down bar stations throughout the tournament
  • Keep bar areas clean, organized, and fully stocked during event hours
  • Monitor guest consumption and address any service issues professionally
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation policies, including outdoor and heat-related safety protocols
  • Provide courteous, efficient service while managing high guest volume
  • Work collaboratively with concessions, culinary, and event operations teams
  • Adhere to tournament rules, dress code standards, and customer service expectations
