Job Duties
- Greet and assist donors in a friendly and courteous manner
- demonstrate superior customer service at all times
- accept or reject donations based on condition and policy
- decline unacceptable donations positively
- record and maintain donor records accurately
- enter donor counts electronically throughout the day
- handle donated materials carefully and safely to maximize value
- record and maintain donations of electronic waste according to state recycling requirements
- ensure proper labeling and scanning of material containers into the electronic warehouse management system
- keep the work area free of safety hazards
- work in a safe and organized manner
- perform in-store processing duties as assigned
- place trash in appropriate containers
- observe and support all agency policies and procedures
- perform processing and janitorial duties as directed
- perform other related duties assigned by store management
