Job Description
Travel + Leisure Co. is the world's leading vacation ownership and travel membership company, boasting a dynamic and expanding portfolio that includes resort, travel club, and lifestyle travel brands. Dedicated to enriching the lives of travelers, the company’s mission is to put the world on vacation through innovative approaches and exceptional experiences. This established organization combines growth and innovation, creating a vibrant work environment where associates are encouraged to learn continuously and contribute to memorable travel journeys for millions across the globe.\n\nThe Tour Guide position at Travel + Leisure Co., located at 1301 Carmelo Drive, East Side Capistrano, Oceanside, California, is a full-time role focused on delivering a welcoming and professional arrival experience for guests and owners. The Tour Guide acts as the initial point of contact, setting the tone for the guest journey in line with the company's strong commitment to hospitality. This role plays a key part in managing check-in presentations, coordinating administrative duties, and ensuring a smooth transfer between guests and the licensed Sales team. Notably, this role strictly adheres to California Department of Real Estate regulations and is non-sales in nature, offering a structured path towards becoming a licensed Real Estate Sales Associate.\n\nThe position requires delivering excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, verifying identities, confirming appointments, and maintaining accurate records in the company’s CRM system. Tour Guides are also responsible for preparing presentation areas, managing audio/visual equipment, and providing general information about resort amenities, services, and local attractions. Throughout the day, they complete various administrative and compliance tasks, including training and team meetings, while supporting overall daily operations. This comprehensive onboarding and support system also includes assistance with obtaining a California Real Estate License, with the company subsidizing pre-licensing education and related fees.\n\nThe role offers a competitive hourly wage of $16.90, with eligibility for flat-rate booking verification bonuses and administrative incentives, ensuring that compensation is independent of sales metrics or real estate transactions. Moreover, Travel + Leisure Co. provides a broad suite of benefits for associates working 30 or more hours per week, including medical, dental, vision coverage, and more, supporting employees throughout their career journey. This inclusive and supportive workplace values diversity, teamwork, and professional development, offering employees opportunities to grow within the company and transition to commissioned sales roles upon licensure. Join Travel + Leisure Co. and be part of a team where hospitality is paramount and every day is an opportunity to create lasting memories for guests and associates alike.
