This position is for a To Go Specialist at Red Lobster, a role that plays a critical part in delivering excellent customer service and ensuring that takeout orders are handled with care and precision. The To Go Specialist is responsible for greeting customers warmly, accurately taking food and beverage orders, processing transactions, and packaging orders securely for transport. Job Requirements

  • Must meet minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the United States
  • ability to bend, reach, stoop, and safely lift up to 30 pounds
  • able to stand for shifts of 8 to 12 hours
  • ability to work cooperatively in a team environment with attention to detail and multitasking abilities

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in customer service or food service preferred
  • ability to operate POS systems
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • attention to detail
  • able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • team-oriented mindset

Job Duties

  • Greet customers and welcome them with a smile
  • suggest sales of beverages, appetizers, and desserts
  • accurately take food and drink orders and enter them correctly into the POS system
  • pack food and beverage orders in appropriate containers ensuring completeness and safe transport
  • deliver orders to customers inside and outside the restaurant for pickup and handle transactions
  • thank customers and invite them to return
  • adhere to all food safety regulations
