The Applebee's Host/Server Assistant is a vital front-of-house position responsible for greeting guests warmly, assisting servers, and managing the flow of the restaurant. This role requires a friendly demeanor, excellent communication skills, and the ability to support a smooth dining experience for guests. Employees in this position will gain valuable experience working in one of the fastest-growing restaurant franchises, with opportunities to advance within the Flynn Group organization. The role involves physical activity, including standing for long periods, lifting, and carrying items safely throughout the shift. Starting wages are competitive, with tips and tip-out included, plus flexible schedules and daily pay options (except in California). Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior customer service experience is a plus
- strong communication skills

Job Duties
- greet guests with a warm welcome and a smile
- assist servers in providing exceptional guest service
- maintain the overall guest flow of the restaurant
- transport plates, glasses, and baskets to and from dining room, service bar, and kitchen
- communicate effectively with dining room staff
- ensure compliance with health and safety protocols
- support a clean and organized working environment
