This role is an integral part of the guest experience, supporting the cinema's food and beverage service with a focus on exceptional hospitality and maintaining safety standards. The Alamo Runner contributes significantly to ensuring that every guest enjoys a distraction-free, safe, and clean environment. Attention to detail is paramount, as runners check guest tickets to confirm seating, assist with theater cleanliness, and anticipate guest needs without causing disruptions.

Job Requirements
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays (minimum 3 days a week, at least one day being a weekend)
- ability to move with caution and work collaboratively in a loud, sometimes dark, fast-paced environment
- ability to bend, duck, crouch, walk up and down stairs, carry multiple plates/trays, and deliver food while limiting disruptions
- ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds at one time and repeatedly during entire shift
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
- ability to maintain physical stamina and coordination in a fast-paced setting
- stays up-to-date on all local food/beverage compliance regulations, safety courses, and assigned online trainings

Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in hospitality/guest services
- prior food and beverage safety/handling experience
Job Duties
- Maintains and supports all company safety standards
- conducts quality food checks and delivers food/beverage orders to the correct seats consistent with venue theater floor maps
- knowledgeable of the Alamo menu and common allergens
- takes necessary safety precautions as needed
- responsible for safe alcohol service, including checking IDs on drink delivery and monitoring guest consumption, following local and state regulations
- checks guest tickets to ensure they are in the correct seat
- maintains a cheerful, courteous disposition with guests and teammates, and communicates efficiently with Production staff, Greeters, Managers, and guests
- anticipates guest needs and monitors notifications for guest requests
- focuses on supporting guests as needed, while limiting disruptions
- responsible for theater, lobby, and restroom cleaning, as well as opening and closing duties as assigned, to maintain cleanliness standards across all high-touch areas
- provides support in identifying guest issues and reports them to the management team
- anticipates and maintains appropriate stocking levels of necessary supplies, completes prep and side work, and assists with additional operational tasks as needed for efficient service
- completes tasks with efficiency and a sense of urgency
- demonstrates strong teamwork skills
- knowledgeable of Alamo policies, procedures, and safety standards
- performs other duties as assigned
