Job Requirements
- must be a minimum age of 18 years
- must be TABC certified to serve alcohol
- outgoing personality
- honesty and integrity
- polite, patient, and courteous
- ability to treat others with kindness and respect
- ability to follow schedules and directions
- ability to understand and follow posted rules and procedures
- ability to interact well with members, guests, and staff
- ability to adapt to different service styles
- ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs
- ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and sit for up to 8 hours
- sufficient vision and hearing capabilities
- ability to maintain good posture and a smile
- ability to work in a team environment
Job Qualifications
- must have knowledge of proper way to serve, set up and clear tables
- ability to learn menu items, ingredients, and preparations
- working knowledge of cocktails
- ability to present and suggest wine and food pairings
- good coordination and balance
- ability to organize, prioritize, and efficiently execute dining service

- ability to use POS system accurately
- able to effectively communicate in a professional and friendly manner
- ability to work fast and safely
Job Duties
- serve all members and guests in assigned sections of the dining room
- provide fast and efficient service of meals and beverages in a courteous manner
- ensure correct billing procedures
- maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance
- set tables according to club standards
- provide immediate attention to guests upon seating
- advise guests on menu and drinks including food and wine pairings
- take and place customer orders with kitchen or bar
- inform cooks of special instructions
- serve food and drinks accurately
- clear tables and return dishes to kitchen
- work with urgency without disrupting dining atmosphere
- verify accuracy of billing before presenting check
- handle complaints and communicate to management
- prepare drinks when necessary
- assist with banquet functions
- keep service areas stocked
- reset tables as needed
- assist in maintaining cleanliness of dining room
- use POS system accurately
- attend meetings as requested
