The Coronado Club, located in the heart of downtown Houston since 1956, stands as the most exclusive fine dining club in Texas. This prestigious establishment has been a beacon of exceptional cuisine, unparalleled service, and an inviting ambiance for decades. Renowned not only for its exclusivity but also for its dedication to culinary excellence, the club offers an environment where tradition meets modern sophistication. The Coronado Club operates as a private club serving its distinguished members, creating a unique space where members can enjoy bespoke dining experiences in an intimate and elegant setting. The club has built its reputation on maintaining a high standard of hospitality, focusing on personalized service, and fostering a sense of community among its members. Every detail, from the carefully crafted menus to the meticulously maintained club areas, highlights the club’s commitment to excellence.
We are currently seeking servers who share our passion for food, service, and hospitality to join our esteemed team. This role is perfect for individuals who are enthusiastic about gourmet cuisine and dedicated to delivering superior service in a fine dining environment. Under the guidance of Chef Robert Greene, whose kitchen expertly blends classic and modern techniques, our food offerings stand out as exceptional and innovative. Being a foodie is essential for our team members as it aligns with the club's commitment to culinary creativity and member satisfaction.
As a server at The Coronado Club, you will play a crucial role in ensuring each member and guest receives a precise and tailored dining experience. Our service philosophy is built around relationship development and team-based assistance to guarantee that every detail meets our members’ expectations. You will greet and interact with guests maintaining a professional fine dining demeanor, assist with both a la carte and event services, and support club functions such as banquets and special events. Your responsibilities will also include the physical setup and breakdown of floor plans and the upkeep of club areas used during services.
Working at The Coronado Club offers a balance between work and personal life with a primarily Monday to Friday schedule and occasional weekend shifts for special events. The club provides competitive wages ranging from $20 to $25 per hour, depending on experience. Additionally, the benefits package includes a 401(k) match, holiday pay, paid time off, free daily employee meals, and access to an on-site gym. The club fosters a collaborative, team-focused culture where continuous learning and professional development are encouraged. All service staff receive training in food, beverage, and service education to ensure high standards are consistently upheld.
Joining The Coronado Club means becoming part of a heritage-rich institution that values hospitality, exceptional culinary experiences, and community. If you thrive in a professional setting where your passion and skills contribute to creating memorable experiences for exclusive clientele, this role is an excellent fit. Embrace the opportunity to work with a team dedicated to excellence and serve within a club that has set the benchmark for fine dining in Texas for over six decades.
