Job Description

PSL is a leading senior living company dedicated to enhancing the lives of seniors through compassionate care and exceptional service. As a Great Place to Work Certified establishment, PSL prides itself on fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment where every team member has the opportunity to thrive and grow. The company operates senior living communities designed to provide residents with comfort, dignity, and a vibrant social atmosphere. With a focus on kindness and integrity, PSL serves its residents by creating an environment that feels like home and supports their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Joining PSL means joining a team that values each associate and recognizes the powerful impact staff have on the lives of seniors. The role of a Server at PSL is a unique opportunity to directly contribute to the positive experiences of residents. Servers play an essential role in the hospitality of senior living, ensuring that residents receive their meals promptly and in a manner that supports their health and enjoyment. The position offers both part-time and full-time scheduling with flexible hours, making it a convenient opportunity for those seeking work-life balance. Additionally, PSL offers competitive wages with the availability of same-day pay options to accommodate employees' financial needs.

As a Server at PSL, you will be part of a mission-driven organization that celebrates and enhances all lives with kindness and integrity. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively with team members, and a commitment to delivering quality service in a welcoming environment. Your responsibilities will include preparing food items, serving meals to residents within designated time frames, and maintaining cleanliness in food service areas, including kitchens and dining rooms. A minimum of one year of relevant hospitality experience, preferably within senior living or full-service settings, is preferred to ensure familiarity with the nuances of resident care and service.

PSL distinguishes itself through a variety of perks and benefits aimed at supporting employee well-being and professional growth. Full-time associates have access to comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, along with a 401K retirement plan that includes matching contributions. The company also offers an employee assistance program, paid time off up to 20 days per year, and extensive discounts on travel, dining, and retail options. Both full-time and part-time employees are eligible for referral bonuses, career development opportunities through a mentorship program, and continued education reimbursement. Furthermore, the PSL Cares program provides financial assistance to employees facing health challenges, embodying the company's commitment to caring for its team.

In addition to the tangible benefits, PSL fosters an incredible company culture characterized by respect, teamwork, and a shared sense of purpose. Employees enjoy access to free community meals during work hours, reinforcing a sense of family within the workplace. PSL is committed to diversity and inclusion, providing reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities and promoting equal opportunity for all associates. This makes PSL not only a fulfilling place to work but also a workplace where your contributions help make a difference every day in the lives of seniors.
