The Membership Experience Associate (MEA) or Front Desk Associate is a crucial position within the Retro Fitness Fort Lee facility. This role is the first point of contact for members and guests, making it vital that the associate is personable, approachable, and professional. The MEA is responsible for greeting and checking-in members, addressing member and guest concerns promptly and effectively, and supporting the sales and retention efforts through membership tours and processing new membership sales. This position demands excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask effectively, and a passion for customer service. The MEA also handles selling in-store merchandise such as smoothies, protein bars, cooler drinks, and apparel, which requires strong sales abilities and a friendly interaction style.
