In addition to the core receptionist duties, the role may require additional tasks such as translation services, particularly bilingual English-Spanish capabilities, which is preferred. The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain a professional and pleasant phone manner is crucial. - High school diploma GED or equivalent training and experience
- Prior medical receptionist experience preferred
- Ability to perform multiple tasks
- Basic math and computer skills

Job Duties
- Greet visitors and patients determine their needs check appointments and direct accordingly
- Answer questions and provide information in person or via telephone using knowledge of center policies procedures and regulations
- Secure necessary information and documents including sign-in sheets medical charts and encounter forms
- Answer telephone calls using proper protocol and reschedule appointments as needed notify patients of appointment changes
- Record no-shows update scheduling systems and immediately refer walk-in patients with severe symptoms to medical triage
- Assure communications with patients and visitors are mature calm sensitive and respectful
- Perform additional duties such as translation as required
- Utilize electronic health record system to enter retrieve and document patient information clinical tasks communications and physician orders accurately and efficiently
