This role is for a Cabin Cleaner at DFW Airport, responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of aircraft interiors between flights to maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for both passengers and crew. This position operates on an overnight shift from 9 pm to 5:30 am, with mandatory overtime until 6:30 or 7:30 am, and includes working weekends. The hourly wage for this position is $15.75. The Cabin Cleaner’s duties involve cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the aircraft cabin including seats, tray tables, overhead bins, and lavatories, vacuuming carpets, wiping down hard surfaces, removing trash and debris from seat pockets and cabin floors, restocking essential supplies such as paper products and soap, and strictly adhering to all airline and TSA safety and security procedures. They are also required to identify and report any maintenance or safety concerns to the supervisor and work efficiently within the demanding timeframes that turnarounds between flights require.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals entering or returning to the workforce, as no previous experience or a high school diploma, GED, or college degree is required; on-the-job training is provided. The role demands basic English communication skills and candidates must be at least 18 years old. Preference is given to applicants with one year of similar work experience or those with previous aviation, aircraft appearance, or cleaning experience, though these qualifications are not mandatory.
