Job Duties
- Meet with meeting sponsors to determine program requirements
- develop overall event plan, budget, and responsibility/timeline matrix
- secure proposals for event locations and accommodations
- facilitate decision making with purchasing and meeting sponsors
- manage event timelines and responsibility matrix
- manage communications regarding event progress
- coordinate customer invitations, registration processes, and post-event evaluations
- coordinate details such as room/facility layout, equipment, menus/catering, themed decor, signage, transportation, off-site recreation, printed materials, event security, and speakers/entertainers
- assist in coordinating event budget, billing, and reconciliation of expenses
