Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in event planning or related field
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Commitment to maintaining resident confidentiality
  • Proficient with basic computer applications

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in event planning or social program coordination
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to engage and empower older adults in various living settings
  • Knowledge of wellness programming principles
  • Proficiency in creating and managing event calendars
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Understanding of confidentiality and HIPAA standards

Job Duties

  • Create and market a broad range of events and programs catering to physical, emotional, intellectual, cultural, and spiritual needs
  • Lead and implement social events, outings, and activities tailored for independent living residents
  • Develop yearly and monthly social event calendars in collaboration with marketing
  • Collect and use resident feedback and interest questionnaires to design programs
  • Maintain attendance records and track resident satisfaction at all events
  • Coordinate with staff and marketing to integrate social and marketing events
  • Foster a safe, respectful environment adhering to HIPAA and community mission standards
