Job Description

The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) is a renowned Christian organization with over 75 years of history dedicated to proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ worldwide. Established to extend the lifelong evangelistic mission of Billy Graham, this association operates various ministries including their headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina, the Billy Graham Library, the Billy Graham Training Center at the Cove in Asheville, North Carolina, Blue Ridge Broadcasting, and multiple field offices internationally. BGEA is committed to spreading the Gospel through effective evangelistic events, equipping the church, and mobilizing believers globally.

This position is within the Crusade Ministries department, a vital arm of BGEA focused on carrying out the mission through evangelistic crusades held in cities worldwide. Crusade Ministries aim to mobilize local church leaders, create impactful evangelistic meetings, and ensure those who respond to the Gospel receive proper discipleship within their local churches. The Program Production Venue (PPV) Assistant role plays a key part in supporting the smooth planning and execution of these major events, including Franklin Graham and Will Graham crusades, as well as related conferences, worship services, and ministry outreach events. This role reports primarily to the PPV Senior Event Manager and, as necessary, the Director of PPV.

The assistant will be responsible for facilitating the logistical, operational, and production elements required to produce high-quality evangelistic events. Duties include coordinating artists and production crew details, managing contracts and payments, supporting venue site visits, and helping with the scheduling and assignments of staff and subcontractors. This position demands excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills to effectively liaise with artists, contractors, local volunteers, and ministry teams both domestically and internationally.

The work environment involves significant travel, often internationally, and requires flexibility in working hours, which may include weekends and non-traditional schedules. The role demands a proactive approach, sound judgment, and the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently under pressure. A strong commitment to the Christian faith and the mission of BGEA is essential, as all employees are expected to maintain an active relationship with Jesus Christ, uphold the organization's statement of faith, and represent BGEA's values professionally.

This position offers a unique opportunity to serve in a dynamic ministry setting where production expertise meets heartfelt evangelistic mission. The successful candidate will be part of a dedicated team that supports effective Gospel outreach worldwide, impacting lives for Christ through carefully coordinated events and ministry initiatives. Working within BGEA not only means engagement in meaningful evangelistic efforts but also joining a supportive Christian community focused on prayer, spiritual growth, and mutual encouragement.
