Job Description

Leigh & Co. Events is a dynamic and expanding wedding planning company, proudly serving couples and clients throughout the United States. With a strong reputation for delivering memorable and impeccably organized weddings, Leigh & Co. Events specializes in offering personalized planning services that cater to the unique visions of each couple. Our company prides itself on a collaborative approach, engaging with clients and vendors alike to ensure a smooth and stress-free wedding day experience. As a growing entity, we are continually seeking passionate and dedicated professionals to join our vibrant team.

We are currently offering an exciting opportunity for aspiring and skilled wedding coordinators to become Lead Wedding Planners with Leigh & Co. Events. This role is designed as a contract position, providing flexibility for planners to create their own schedules while receiving comprehensive training to hone their skills. Compensation for the Lead Wedding Planner position is competitive, offering $350 per project in exchange for approximately 10 to 12 hours of dedicated work. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy turning wedding days into unforgettable celebrations.

As a Lead Wedding Planner, your primary responsibility will be to deliver exceptional wedding planning services, particularly on-site at wedding venues. You will collaborate closely with client experience managers during the planning phase to ensure every detail is captured and executed flawlessly. On the wedding day, you will work alongside assistant coordinators, managing logistics and vendor operations to orchestrate a seamless event. Your role is pivotal in guiding both the couple and their guests, ensuring the wedding day flows according to plan and any challenges are swiftly and effectively resolved.

You will conduct final details calls with clients roughly six weeks before their wedding, confirming timelines, logistics, and expectations. Leading the ceremony rehearsal is another crucial duty, where you will ensure all participants are confident and prepared. Being the couple's primary advocate, you will maintain a calm, professional demeanor throughout the event, providing problem-solving and support. Managing vendor arrivals, setup, and event breakdown will fall under your purview, along with directing vendors and coordinating the placement of personal and event details such as escort cards, menus, table numbers, favors, guest books, and décor elements.

Support to the wedding party and family members is also an integral part of your responsibilities, from offering guidance and timing cues to attending to day-of needs. Finally, you will ensure all end-of-event items are collected, packed, and accounted for to close out the day smoothly. We are eager to welcome new Lead Wedding Planners to our team for the 2026 season and beyond, promising rewarding experiences and the chance to be part of a passionate, professional community dedicated to excellence in wedding planning.
