This particular role is a full-time, non-management position within the Food and Beverage & Culinary category. The hotel provides extensive support both inside and outside the workplace, including hotel room discounts, gift shop savings, food and beverage discounts, and wellness programs. The culinary team member's responsibilities include preparing fresh ingredients, cooking quality menu items efficiently, checking food temperatures and preparation accuracy, maintaining kitchen equipment safely, and ensuring a clean and hygienic kitchen environment. The role also demands physical stamina, including the ability to stand or walk for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds. A clean and professional uniform is required, along with completing safety training and certification prior to employment.
Candidates with extraordinary teamwork abilities, a keen eye for detail, a positive attitude, and an outgoing personality will thrive in this role. Previous kitchen experience is considered a significant advantage but is not mandatory. The position calls for at least a high school diploma or equivalent, such as a General Educational Development (GED) certificate, and a minimum of one year of related work experience.
