The role of Cook at Hilton is pivotal in ensuring that guests enjoy memorable dining experiences as part of their stay. More than just preparing food, a Hilton Cook embodies hospitality by delivering high-quality dishes that delight guests and uphold the brand’s standards. This role involves preparing menu items according to specific recipes and quality guidelines, managing guest orders efficiently, and executing complex recipes with precision. A Cook also oversees food station management, quality control, inventory inspections, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the workspace.

Additionally, Cooks at Hilton play an important part in operational duties such as coordinating timing and plating, directing fellow cooks during shifts, assisting with inventory and ordering, and participating in shift briefings and special features. Compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations is mandatory to maintain the highest standards of guest and team member safety and well-being. Job Requirements

  • previous experience in a cooking role preferred

Job Duties

  • maintain strong knowledge of menu offerings and handle complex recipes
  • oversee stations, execution, quality control and inventory checks
  • inspect all preparations and dishes ahead of serving to ensure quality and presentation standards
  • keep food service stations stocked and sanitary following proper food handling, storage and safety protocols
  • coordinate timing and plating, manage and direct cooks during shifts, assist with inventory checks, ordering, shift briefings and special features
  • maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness regulations
