As a Cook at Red Lobster, you will play a critical role in maintaining the high standards of food preparation and service that the brand is known for. This role involves setting up and stocking prep and line stations, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils, and verifying the quality and freshness of ingredients. You will be responsible for prepping, seasoning, and cooking food according to carefully defined recipes, quantity calls, and specifications while maintaining strict portion control. Ensuring safe and sanitary food-handling practices is paramount, as is inspecting all food preparation and serving areas regularly. Additionally, cooks are expected to assist or substitute for other kitchen positions during busy periods, demonstrating teamwork and flexibility. This position requires a good physical condition due to the demands of the job, including the ability to lift up to 60 pounds safely, stand for long periods, and continuously move throughout the restaurant during shifts that may last 8 to 12 hours.   • must meet the minimum age requirement and authorized to work in the country you are applying
  • ability to bend, reach, stoop and lift up to 60 pounds safely
  • ability to move about the restaurant and remain standing for an 8 - 12 hour shift
