The role of Cook at Aramark offers a dynamic and creative opportunity for individuals passionate about food and culinary arts. As a Cook, you will play a crucial role in bringing diverse recipes to life within a vibrant kitchen environment equipped with fresh ingredients and professional-grade equipment. This position not only involves preparing and cooking various dishes adhering to standardized recipes and production guidelines but also encourages experimentation with different cuisines, flavors, and cooking styles. The Cook is responsible for setting up workstations, preparing ingredients by measuring, chopping, mixing, and peeling, as well as operating kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, and mixers. You will apply various cooking methods including baking, roasting, broiling, and steaming to prepare quality meals.

Attention to food safety and sanitation is paramount in this role, with strict adherence to Aramark's safety policies to ensure a safe and hygienic work environment. Part of your responsibilities includes properly storing food items, cleaning and sanitizing work areas and utensils, and maintaining excellent customer service with a positive attitude toward guests, co-workers, and clients. Physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, standing, and walking for extended periods are part of the job, and usage of uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required to comply with safety standards.
