As a Cook, you will play a critical role in preparing a diverse range of dishes in accordance with established production guidelines and standardized recipes. This includes setting up workstations, measuring and preparing ingredients, and safely operating kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, mixers, and slicers. Your contributions will extend beyond food preparation to include presentation by garnishing and portioning food, maintaining sanitary work environments, and providing excellent customer service with a positive attitude.

Job Requirements
- Experience as a cook or in a related role
- Knowledge of food preparation and safety regulations
- Ability to acquire food safety certification
- Basic math skills
- Good communication skills
- Capable of performing physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods
- Willingness to wear uniform and use personal protective equipment (PPE)
Job Qualifications
- Experience as a cook or in a related role required
- Validated knowledge of the basic principles of food preparation, various cooking methods, and food safety regulations
- Must be able to acquire food safety certification
- Demonstrate basic math and counting skills
- Demonstrate interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
Job Duties
- Cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
- Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment
- Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items
- Safely use a variety of utensils including knives
- Operate equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers
- Bake, roast, broil, steam, and use various cooking methods on meat, vegetables, and other foods
- Arrange, garnish, and portion food according to established guidelines
- Properly store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils
- Maintain excellent customer service and positive demeanor
- Adhere to Aramark safety policies and procedures including accurate food safety and sanitation
- Ensure security of company assets
