We are currently seeking a dedicated and service-oriented Concierge to join our luxury residential building team. This role is essential in providing exceptional service and creating an exquisite living experience for our residents. The ideal Concierge candidate will possess a sophisticated and professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, and a genuine commitment to resident satisfaction. Responsibilities include greeting residents and guests, managing incoming packages and deliveries, providing valuable information about community amenities and local services, and serving as a reliable point of contact for residents’ inquiries and needs.

The Concierge will also enforce access control policies to ensure a safe environment and will be actively involved in maintaining a secure and hospitable atmosphere in the building. This position requires physical agility, including the ability to move throughout the building, lift heavy packages over 50 pounds, and work comfortably in varying environmental conditions. The Concierge may also perform additional duties beyond those listed as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to resident service.

Compensation for this hourly position is $22.33, reflecting the company’s commitment to fair and competitive wages. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a customer service or concierge role preferred
  • Ability to lift and move large or heavy packages over 50 pounds
  • Ability to work onsite for the full shift
  • Flexibility to perform additional duties as required
  • Knowledge of basic security procedures
  • Work authorization in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Yardi, and property management software
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Professional and courteous demeanor in all communications
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Familiarity with basic security procedures
  • Active NYS Security Guard License is a plus
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Duties

  • Greet and assist residents and guests with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Coordinate receipt and notification of incoming packages or deliveries to residents
  • Provide information and assistance regarding community amenities, local services, and events
  • Serve as a point of contact for addressing resident inquiries, resolving issues, and relaying messages
  • Monitor building entrances and enforce access control policies to ensure safety
  • Comply with workplace safety regulations
  • Maintain physical presence on-site, moving throughout the building to address tenant, staff, vendor, and visitor needs
  • Ascend and descend stairs and lift or move packages in excess of 50 pounds
  • Perform duties outside normal responsibilities as needed
