Operating primarily within residential and commercial properties, the company emphasizes creating a welcoming, safe, and presentable environment for all who enter their managed buildings. Known for their commitment to personalized service, Planned Companies integrates concierge-style offerings through their Planned Lifestyle Services (PLS) division to support tenants with a variety of lifestyle needs. This established company takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring that tenants, guests, and vendors feel valued, comfortable, and well-assisted from the moment they arrive on-site.
Planned Lifestyle Services is currently seeking a motivated, courteous, and knowledgeable Concierge to join their team. This part of the company specifically focuses on providing front-line customer service as Front Desk Associates and Doormen who play a crucial role in maintaining the welcoming atmosphere that the company is known for. The position is based in Hoboken, NJ, offering a scheduled workweek from Tuesday through Saturday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with a pay rate of $20.00 per hour.
As a Concierge at Planned Companies, the successful candidate will be responsible for greeting, announcing, and providing directions to tenants, guests, and vendors entering the building. The role demands a high level of interpersonal skills and the ability to cultivate strong relationships with tenants, offering tailored services according to their unique personalities and needs. Tasks include scheduling reservations for restaurants, entertainment venues, and other experiences, as well as planning and organizing on-site events. This position also involves providing tenants with information and referrals regarding local entertainment, dining options, retail shopping, sporting events, tourist attractions, and transportation services.
In addition to hospitality duties, the Concierge will manage logistical responsibilities such as documenting, securing, and tracking mail, deliveries, and vendor services to ensure efficient building operations. The role requires attentiveness in monitoring the lobby area, answering telephones, and maintaining control over keys and access cards to safeguard tenant security.
This dynamic position requires an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is friendly and polite, and exhibits strong multitasking abilities and excellent time management. A genuine passion for customer service and a commitment to delivering a warm and welcoming greeting to each person are essential qualities. Applicants should be knowledgeable about local attractions and establishments and possess excellent communication skills along with basic computer proficiency. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 pounds when necessary.
The company values its employees and offers full-time staff who work 30 or more hours per week access to a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and other ancillary benefits. All employees, whether full-time or part-time, can participate in the 401K plan with an employer match, enhancing long-term financial security.
