The role of Concierge at Brightview East Brunswick is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about working with seniors and eager to contribute to the community’s mission. This position plays a critical role in creating a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere by greeting, engaging, and assisting residents, family members, guests, and callers with professionalism and warmth. The Concierge is responsible for consistently reflecting the company’s STARS values through every interaction, helping to foster a sense of connection and trust within the community. Responsibilities include managing inquiries, maintaining marketing collateral, supporting sales efforts, and assisting with business operations such as compliance, inventory management, and recruitment support. Additionally, this position requires maintaining the presentation and readiness of model apartments to ensure potential residents receive a positive impression.
Brightview offers this role with a competitive hourly salary ranging from $19.00 to $21.75, reflecting experience, qualifications, and relevant certifications. This does not include potential bonuses or additional incentives and benefits, which are part of a comprehensive compensation program aimed at supporting employee well-being and growth. Job Qualifications
- Associate degree
- Minimum two years of experience in a sales or administrative capacity involving significant interaction with internal and external customers
- Strong customer service skills with demonstrated experience in building relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional computer skills and the ability to quickly master new applications
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong attention to detail

Job Duties
- Consistently and genuinely demonstrate the STARS principles of Service, Teamwork, Action, Reputation and Success in all activities and interactions
- Greet, engage and assist callers and guests in a vibrant, professional and courteous manner
- Ensure that collateral materials such as brochures are up to date and readily available
- Work closely with the community Executive Director and Sales Director(s) in fielding inquiry calls
- Respond to inquiries and promote all that Brightview has to offer in terms of programming, dining services, care and safety
- Make follow-up calls to prospective residents and/or families to maintain contact
- Help maintain data in the Yardi lead base system ensuring that information is updated timely and accurately
- Continue to support the community sales efforts by engaging visitors and prospective residents, collecting information, and promoting Brightview as a great place to live
- Help ensure that model apartments are well maintained and ready to show at all times
- Assist the Business Office Director and Recruiting Specialist with the interview process
- Assist the Business Office Director to ensure that all files remain within compliance
- Assist the Business Office Director with ordering and maintaining an adequate inventory of office and community supplies
