Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service or retail preferred
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs regularly and occasionally lift up to 30 lbs
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to learn and follow store policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Customer service and retail experience desirable
- Ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with diverse customers
- Demonstrates care, compassion, and teamwork
- Basic familiarity with cash handling procedures and retail operations
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Job Duties
- Provide excellent customer service and engage with customers
- Handle cash transactions accurately including voids, refunds, and transaction cancellations
- Ensure compliance with WIC, checks, liquor, and tobacco policies
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the front end and store environment
- Meet cashier productivity goals including Bottom of the Basket targets
- Participate in cashier training and follow company policies
- Perform other store duties as assigned
- Improve speed and efficiency of service provided
