Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not mandatory
  • Previous cook or kitchen experience beneficial
  • Food Handlers certification or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Availability for full-time or part-time work
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a cook, line cook, prep cook, sous chef, or other back of house roles preferred
  • Food Handlers certification or willingness to obtain
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Ability to follow recipes and prepare food according to standards
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare food items according to the menu recipes and special dietary or nutritional restrictions
  • Determine food and supplies needed to keep the kitchen stocked during service
  • Ensure proper health procedures and standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety are followed
  • Maintain standards of appearance and cleanliness in the kitchen area
  • Work efficiently to meet quantity and deadline requirements during service
  • Assist in receiving and storing food supplies
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
