Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not mandatory
- Previous cook or kitchen experience beneficial
- Food Handlers certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Availability for full-time or part-time work
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a cook, line cook, prep cook, sous chef, or other back of house roles preferred
- Food Handlers certification or willingness to obtain
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow recipes and prepare food according to standards
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Prepare food items according to the menu recipes and special dietary or nutritional restrictions
- Determine food and supplies needed to keep the kitchen stocked during service
- Ensure proper health procedures and standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety are followed
- Maintain standards of appearance and cleanliness in the kitchen area
- Work efficiently to meet quantity and deadline requirements during service
- Assist in receiving and storing food supplies
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
