Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent or combination of experience and education
- Previous facility maintenance, electrical or painting experience preferred
- Valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Availability to work various shifts including weekends and third shifts as needed
- Ability to speak clearly and listen effectively
- Ability to write clearly and interpret written information
- Positive attitude toward customer service
- Adaptability to change and unexpected events
- Sound judgment and ability to work well under pressure
- Proficiency in English language
- Physical ability to perform demanding tasks including lifting 50 pounds, standing, walking, climbing and working in various weather conditions

Job Duties
- Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks using brooms, mops, brushes and other hand tools
- Walk the garage daily to note and correct maintenance problems
- Sweep and pick up around entrances, exits, stairwells, booth, office, and restrooms
- Empty trashcans in the garage, booth and office
- Paint facility surfaces such as poles, signs, doors, walls, curbs, islands and gates
- Replace burned out bulbs
- Apply oil absorbent to oil spills
- Submit repair requests
- Inspect safety items and ensure gate operations
- Check ticket dispensers and gates for proper function and appearance
- Maintain janitorial supply inventory
- Operate automatic sweepers, scrubbers and other equipment
- Shovel, plow or blow snow as directed
- Report safety hazards or unusual occurrences
- Assist customers and resolve complaints
- Perform other duties as assigned
